I just had someone ask me this the other day so here are a few questions you should ask when buying eyeglasses. A good Optician should always try to ask questions relevant to what your needs are for the kind of prescription you have But make sure you are getting your questions answered the types of questions you might ask is.

2): Do the frames come with a warranty Also, reputable optical stores usually will have no problem offering you a replacement, because most eyewear manufacturers stand behind their products and provide free replacements to the retailer if there is a manufacturing defect. Both the makers of eyeglass lenses and frames and the optical stores put their reputations first and do not want consumers to think their eyewear is inferior.
3): What can I do if the Prescription is not correct and i have to return to the Optometrist Office. Most stores have a 90 Day doctors change policy meaning if the script is not correct they will change the lenses ( with a new prescription at no charge to you . It is a good idea to take any pair of completed glasses back to the prescribing doctor and have the lenses checked for accuracy if you are having problems. If the optical shop has made a mistake, ask the doctor's office for a written explanation of exactly what the errors are, so you can bring it to the store and have the lenses remade . Of coarse only do this if you feel they are not right.
